As was stated above Divi Phoenix is a high rise at the start of the high rise section of resorts. It's right on the beach with a combination of high rise rooms and beach villas. It was a resort that construction was started and stopped. Divi then bought it after it sat for while and completed that construction. It's very close the Butterfly Farm which is good for an hour or two of distraction.
There seems to be some confusion of the other Divi resort you listed. There is Divi Village Golf & Beach Resort, aka Divi Village, and there is Divi Dutch Village. On the map provided above Divi Village Golf & Beach Resort is across the street from the beach and has a large pool with a slide & swim up bar (it's where we own). It's set right on the golf course.
Divi Dutch Village is an older section of the resort to the right of Golf & Beach Resort. The rooms for Dutch Village are a little smaller than Golf & Beach Resort but have been recently renovated. They are fronted by a nice pool and a walk up bar.
Both resorts are quite nice. Dutch Village is closer to downtown where you can spend a day at the shops. Phoenix is closer to the shops & restaurant section that services all the high rise resorts. To me, the advantage of Dutch Village is that you can also use the facilities & restaurants of Divi Tamarin, Divi Golf & Beach Resort, and Divi All Inclusive (aka Divi Divi). This means 3 different buffet restaurants, 7 other styles of restaurants, the pools at each resort, and the golf course. All within a short walk.
You don't really spend a lot of time in the rooms. So if it's just a couple the Studio room should be fine (it's what we own). Also know that Divi offers an All Inclusive plan. It's flexible so you can choose to do 3 day AI and the rest not. I would also recommend renting a car for 1 day to see Baby Beach and Arikok National Park on the opposite side of the island from where the resorts are located.
