Nice win over Georgetown to advance to Sweet 16.. it been a long time coming and not since the glory days of Coach Jim Valvano (1983 NCAA Championship) has Wolfpack nation had a real since of pride and joy in the basketball program.

Congrats to new head coach and a team that believes it can win.

I thought #2-Missouri would oust my #7-Gators.
But #15-Norfolk St. did us a great favor.

The Payback: Gators 84 - Norfolk St - 50... a 34-point margin.

State needs to thank Lehigh U, too. Little tension in our family as us 3 Engineers were rooting together in 1 family room 1500 miles from our Duke sibling --- who stopped answering her phone 3/4 thru the game and these last several days.

Bet it was a looooong 55 mile ride home for the Duke team.:ignore:

and a short plane ride home for the WOLF PACK,,,

did not see a lot of the carolina game so was not aware of marshall injury till later.. that a bummer or sure.. hansen with a bum hand and marshall with a broken hand..

that going to make it a tough row to hoe going forward for carolina.

Florida State , ACC Champions, got beat as well.. was hoping for a better showing there.
