I second the Solid Gold products. My rottie was on Hundenflocken for the entire time we had her (12 years) until her death a few months ago. She loved it and never had any problems. My son has his dog who is allergic to everything on their fish meal food and is doing great!!

Speaking of dog pooh, scat or whatever you choose to call it . . .

With our 45 lb dog eating Wellness, she digests and processes a very large percentage of her intake. Her poops are relatively small as compared to other dogs of similar size. In fact, right now she's living with David at his sister's. They have a pug, probably a 15 or 20 lb dog . . . and his poops are at least twice the size of Heidi's. In comparison to body size, they are HUGE!

My SIL feeds him some cheap stuff from Sam's Club. I don't think he's processing or getting nearly the nutrients our Miss Heidi is getting.
