Starting to work on Nashville/Memphis vacation for my mom. Anyone know of any major crowd events going on that I need to avoid? Easter is March 27th so she will be clear of that. Thank you

Nashville should be fine in April. No country music fest or awards, no NFL.
"Memphis in May" is the big crowd event there, so April should be good. NBA still in season, but that doesn't affect a big area.

Thank you, exactly what I was looking for. Hoping for cooler temps in April than in May. Mom doesn't do well in the heat.

When you are in Nashville, take the Walkin Nashville Tour. It is not just about country music but stories of other musicians as well. The tour starts at the Chet Atkins statue . Are you going to Graceland? We started out from Branson, but never made it there was a crash in Arkansas that stopped traffic for hours, we had to turn around. Still would like to go sometime. Have a great time, only spent a couple of days in Nashville, but very nice City!

Mom's mobility is very limited so we won't be doing any walking tours. Saw Graceland on a previous trip to Memphis, spent the whole day there. Far exceeded my expectations. Going to see the Civil Rights Museum this time and a few other museums. Thank you for the suggestions.
