We have reservations for next week in a 3-bedroom lock out. We are exchanging through II. I just received a call from there and was advised that I could call reservations and ask for a renovated unit. This was in response from my mentioning that I had read some negative comments from past visitors.

I am looking for any advise about the resort.

I have taken a look at the reviews. Some were rather negative and prompted my question about the accommodations.

Tristram's Landing, Tree Tops Gatlinburg, Mystic Dunes, Sheraton Vistana Spas & Fountains
We check in there Friday on an II exchange. I had a phone message passed along from my teen son (so can't validate the accuracy) saying I needed to call to confirm my reservation. I got voice mail when I called, but sort of assumed that they didn't realize we were owners and were hoping to book us on a tour. Anybody stayed there recently and received a similar call? I just left voice mail that we would be there Friday. Sounds like a confirmation to me.
