Ok, history before question. So I've bought trust points resale, and have been through all the restrictions, and then did a qualifying purchase to bring them into the club. I have recently purchased a deeded week at LV Desert Club. This has just been completed and I'm pretty surprised that it does show up in the HICV new site as a pull-down to choose between my club points and this. I can even book online which I was further surprised at. Looks like my only restriction is that it's a deeded week for LV and only at LV, which is what I assumed. Its floating for the Summer and I can book out side of this window at 45 days. Plus for some fees I can break it into two stays.

So now the question, I've read that South Beach is one of the three that the deeded week is desired as the points come in. So has anyone purchased a deeded week at SB lately and what was the outcome of what you ended up with?

Hi Mike. I have purchased three South Beach deeds, and two Gatlinburg deeds, from other owners on the resale market over the last few years. Both resorts transfer as points. I use my points to book HICV resorts and RCI reservations just like any other regular (non-trust) points. Apparently my points do not qualify for "perks" at certain levels, but that is insignificant to me. I have never purchased HICV points directly from HICV. I was an owner at Cape Canaveral (Ron Jon) before HICV took it over. I did not convert my units there to HICV. I also own several fixed weeks at other HICV resorts that I acquired resale.

Thanks. I have one in process so hopefully, it will close out in a few weeks and I'll be able to see how it comes in.
