You can buy mine!

I purchased mine from a resort salesman 5 years ago, BIG MISTAKE!
I'm extremly tired of the "Exchange Game"! I felt like you a couple of years ago, until M.F's started going up, and then had to pay additional for hurricane damages. I'm frustrated because the exchange I want, I'm probably not going to get, even banking a year early!
I could go to VRBO.com right now and get a place in the location I want, for the same price I'm paying for M.F.'s, taxes, and exchange fees. But unfortunately I'm a 1 paycheck household and can't afford it. Plus I've been trying to bank 2007 for 3 weeks now and my resort keeps screwing up!
Sorry to be negative, I've loved every trip I've been on, but this year I'm just not thrilled about the exchange game. We need more timeshares to choose from and less renting!

Elena,

Funny thing is, recently we went to a sales presentation in HH by Marriott, and when I asked about points, the saleperson never made that clear. Hahaha, at least we didn't buy that time.

Angela

Angela, We went on tours, both point trades, and told the sales reps. about our POINT exchange. Neither one of them mentioned not being able to do that. I even remember making it clear how excited we were to have exchanged a desert view for an Ocean Front! :)
TUG really is the first place I heard of that rule and I only found this site about 3 months ago. (After our last POINT trade!) :)
