My mother-in-law has decided to get the Alaska card, so we can fly together for our next trip and so she can go again with us in August. Rick and I both received offers in the mail upon registering for frequent flyer numbers, which gave us 45K miles each + the two companion codes. We are all set!

But Mom hasn't gotten any such offers. Do you think it's because she is 83 years old?

Mom wants to get the card to build miles quickly toward a free ticket.

Is there a code somewhere, or a website I can visit to print the info for the higher miles? All I had to do was call for mine, and the gal said I had the offer.

I check the AS forum at Flyertalk regularly and haven't seen anything lately. There was an offer like that a while ago, but haven't seen anybody get it lately.

That would definitely be the place to check and if I see anything, I'll be sure to let you know.

You might catch up with CathyB, I think she was asking the same question although I don't think we found anything for her.
