I guess because I've been looking for info related to timeshares recently, the artificial intelligence bots have determined that I'm a prime candidate to get inundated with pro-timeshare propaganda. The attached is an article I was just sent.

Key points that I remember as I read through it in disbelief:
  • You can easily rent whenever you can't use your timeshare (yeah...try to do so with a cold winter week NOT in a ski area).
  • 85% of owners love their overall experience (their answer to, actually more of a ridicule of, a Forbes article that said that timeshares were an emotional and impulsive purchase)
  • Then there was a list of ten reasons timeshares were a superb buy.
  • If you want to trade your timeshare and exchange it to stay in a timeshare elsewhere, there are "thousands" of options
  • Timeshare ownership is expanding as better educated, younger people (who, presumably, see the great value) are flocking to timeshares.
It is SO nice to know that the A.I. gods have identified me as someone who wants to be bombarded with pro-timeshare articles. I can't wait to have my cell phone feed filled with them.

well...timesharesonly is one of the largest upfront fee resale companies out there....nice to see them actually beginning to market to buyers!

quick search for orlando resorts showed me a bluegreen resale for $21,000..... going to need to step up their marketing game to sell that one!

I kinda liked the week at the Hyatt Windward Pointe priced at the very reasonable price of $100,000. I'm sure they did all manner of analysis resulting in THAT recommendation as to sales price.

I suppose its ok to dream on getting those prices. The seller will have their MFs and TS for life at that price.

and will have paid that company a large upfront fee for the honor of having it posted there forever too!
