A lot of things have happened in the last five years. Covid. More covid. Alabama won the college football championship for the 2020 season.
We moved to St. Augustine. We bought our dream house. Yes, it was in that order. Nick Saban retired so we wonder if Alabama will win another football championship. But, hey, our basketball team is really good now and may start next season at #1 in the polls.
And a lot of other things that we won’t get into here. But, one of the best things is that five years ago today, I took the plunge, got $15 out of the penny jar and joined TUG. We had bought timeshare points in 2014 and I had read the Wyndham forum for quite a while but started snooping around at some of the other forums which I found interesting. I decided I didn’t just want to read but also wanted to participate. So, over the past five years, I’ve really enjoyed reading, learning, laughing, and trying to offer something meaningful to the various conversations.
I also have made a few cyber friends that I really enjoy conversing with. Although TUG is a timeshare and travel site, it also allows for a wide array of other topics and it’s easy to find like-minded members to discuss favorite topics or to request “expert” advice on something you need help with.
If you’re reading this and you aren’t a member, I suggest doing as I did and try it for a year. I now do the 3 year membership which is an even better bargain. Thanks to Brian and all of the moderators for maintaining the site. You guys do a great job! And to all my fellow members, thanks for your participation. I enjoy TUG every day because of you. And, now, you’re stuck with me for three more years!
