Came here on AC. Was hoping (and praying) for an ocean view. This is Ocean Front. Out of curiosity, looked up nightly rate -- $495 with taxes, and my senior discount. Paid less than that for whole week.Well that’s going to be a beautiful place to quarantine!! ❤❤

Where do you see the view assignment on your confirmations there?Did you II confirmation show ocean view as the assignment?
We’re heading to Ko’ Olina for 5 weeks on the 16th - all on ACs. They all show island view but I’m hoping management there will be nice and give us ocean view since we will be there for so long.

I checked the room rate for our weeks, too and it would cost us $12-$15K for those 5 weeks. Using ACs plus the insurance it’s costing us $1650. I’ll take it!!
In II, you can look at your “History” and see the week you want to know about. When you download the confirmation and open it, you will see the Unit designation - it might say ZZAB or TMOV or something else like that. Once you find that, you can go to this link https://tugbbs.com/forums/threads/marriott-ii-unit-codes.163130/page-10
and find the resort you’re going to and the Unit code that matches the one on your II confirmation. That will tell you what your room assignment is, i.e., ocean view, Mountain View, etc.
Thank you - this is very helpful. I decoded my weeks and they are all Mountain View. The irony here is that we are owners at this resort and own an ocean view unit which we lost this year due to the pandemic. I would hope they would be nice and put us in an ocean view unit under the circumstances but there is no guarantee.
If you bought eplus you could've kept trying to trade for a view unit. That is what we did and it was well worth it. We ended up splitting and turning every studio into 2BDRM OFs and the 1BDRM units into 3BDRM OF in new towers. We're headed there for 2 weeks starting 10/31 in the 3BDRM OF units. We have friends using the studios and my family is in the 2 BDRM section so it really worked out well using the eplus.
I would send them an email ahead of time and let them know you had to cancel previously. They might give you an ocean view just to be kind.
Would you know the email address?
Which resort are you going to?
It's funny because this unit is positioned in such a way that the view makes me feel a million miles from anything. Can't see pool area or anything people oriented. I think that makes it easier to stay in. Also, SIP at home earlier this year gave me experience with staying inside.Nice view. I still say it would kill me to see that view and not be able to go out and get in the ocean.
Oh! Try messaging @frank808 He has been there for quite some time now and can probably give you some contact information.
When will you be there?
