MVCI won't be able to trade into DVC anymore?

"Effective January 1, 2009, RCI will become the exclusive third-party exchange provider for Disney Vacation Club, enrolling Disney Vacation Club’s more than 135,000 member families into RCI’s global exchange network. "

Does that mean MVCI owners will not be ble to trade into DVC anymore? We have exchanged our Fairway Villas to Disney's OKW for the Memorial Day weekend next year and have a pending request using our Grand Chateau week.

I guess we got lucky, just days after I FINALLY closed on my MGO and joined Interval, I snagged a Disney Wilderness Lodge for that same week. It made the grueling six month wait for the closing/waiting on Marriott to recognize me as an owner worth it all. My daughter is going to be SO excited when she opens this "gift" next month at her birthday party!

They could trade into any of the Marriott's that also trade in RCI. See the FAQ post at the top of this board's page for a list of resorts that trade with RCI. However, I don't see any of them currently listed in the Disney literature.

Streamside is listed, but I do not know if it is the Marriott resorts there.
