I recently bought a Ko-Olina Marriott Vacation Club International unit through the sales representative in at the Kaui Beach Club - there have been some issues with the purchase (monetary in nature). Off the record, the manager stated that there was merit to my argument, but on the record she stated that nobody upto the directors in Hawaii could help me.

Can someone forward me (perhaps by private mail) the name and contact information of someone at a high executive position at Marriott who can help me deal with the problem?

I just checked with a Marriott "high executive" contact. Bottom line? The Director of Sales or Project Director in Hawaii can fix any sales agreement they created. If they aren't willing to make a change, you are out of luck.

Can you give me the name and contact information of these 2 people.

Thanks.

I don't have them. Contact the Sales Department at Kauai Beach and ask to talk to the Director of Sales or Project Director. You can be sure that if you don't meet with success, there is a reason; meaning that you're stuck.

I re-conveyed the same argument by email - including all the emails regarding my transaction between the resort (developer) and myself.

This time the sale manager went with the email documentation supporting my arguments - the directors authorized the sales and customer service manager to give me one "free" 2 bedroom week (through an exchange request with II) - I would not be responsible for maintenance fees for this 2 br week, nor the II exchange fees.

Congrats, it's nice to hear that someone got something back when they were wronged. It's a good thing you created an email trail so that you could back up your claims. I'm sure that helped you case.
