I am trying to find out is there anything that shows what resorts percentage that are allocated in the club. Reason being i was told I am trying to get a resort 14 or 12 months out that is all deeded and none in the club. That only way resorts match is if owner deposit them for points. Thats why not showing hardly for booking out ahead. The resort was Aruba surf club.

The Abound Trust can only hold perpetual deeds in the US so the percentage held in resorts in the Caribbean (and Boston since it's a RTU) is 0%.

The Asia Pacific Trust holds deeds at Surfer's Paradise, Bali Nusa Dua Gardens, Bangkok Empire Place, Phuket Beach Club, Mai Khao Beach Club, Grand Chateau, Ko Olina Beach Club, and the Waiohai Beach Club.

Is Frenchmans cove or Crystal shores held in the trust. Is there a list that shows how many units per property are held in the trust

Most of Crystal Shores is held in the trust. Only the original building was sold as weeks. I am not 100% certain about Frenchman's Cove but I believe it is not in the trust.

Having said that, I was able to book a week at Frenchman's Cove during Easter week this year using points, so it's not impossible. I believe I booked it 12 months in advance.

I doubt MVC would ever be willing to disclose the extent to which they rely on week deposits from owners to supplement the Trust inventory to meet the needs of point spenders. They would be even less likely to disclose the quality of the inventory, resort and season, owned by the Trust. It's quite telling when owner services personnel attribute the shortage of inventory to the unwillingness of owners to deposit their weeks. Unfortunately, week owners wanting "high demand" resorts are often better off holding onto their weeks and either exchanging them thru Interval or renting them out.

Is there a more efficient exchange vehicle out there that would enable direct exchanges between owners of resorts? In my case, I have done this in a roundabout way by renting out weeks for cash and rerenting what I want. I'm often surprised by the number of units listed for rent. This is not to say that Interval doesn't attempt to provide this exchange.

Ultimately, I think the real winners in this game are those who own high demand weeks and use them. Some of us don't see MVC offerings as the best means to see the world - too limiting.

There are a few (very few) weeks at Frenchman's Cove that are in the Abound Trust. The USVI is in the US and so they can be in the trust. That said, the overwhelming majority of Frenchman's Cove Abound Point inventory comes from enrolled owners electing their weeks.

As for Crystal Shores, as @claraj wrote most of the resort as a whole is in the Abound Trust as the second phase (the Egret Building) was added after MVC switched to mainly selling points. But there are very few Gulf Front weeks in the trust.

Catch 22- the Aruba weeks were allocated far fewer points than their relative rental value would suggest. Aruba weeks are now fetching rental rates similar to Hawaii weeks, and I think more and more owners are renting rather than trading in for points. Hence, there are few available in the point pool for point reservations.

On 6/1/26 I was able to book Frenchman’s Cove for 7 nights starting on 4/9/27. Got lucky on a “anything in the Caribbean in April 2027” type of search. Was surprised to find it available a little over 10 months out.

Very possibly my Gold Week I traded in for points right around that time, hope you enjoy!!

Nice, thank you (if that’s the case)! Going to try and tack on a few nights at the Westin St. John with some leftover Vistana StarOptions at the 8 month mark.

I like the Tortola Building or Virgin Gorda, prefer car rental vs. taxis, car ferry to St. John, downtown for shopping but take the water shuttle/taxi from the dock, ask for the cruise ship schedule, ferry to Water Island from Crown Bay for a nice beach day, Udder Delights for spiked milkshakes outside of Magens Bay..
