Hello,
We are thinking about going to the MVC Palm Spring resorts in late April or May. There are multiple resorts to choose from, can anyone shed some light on which resort may be best? Is the weather potentially an issue going at that time frame? Any suggestions about what we can do in that area, i.e., fun activities such as wine tastings?

Thank You...

There are two large MVC properties in Palm Desert and each resort has two different phases of units, each being quite unique, so it depends on your needs which one would suit you best. I know both resorts well, have stayed many times and own at Shadow Ridge.

That time of year is beautiful by the way. Should be warm but not too hot. We are going first of June.

Let me know what your specific questions are and I will do my best to reply soon.

Wine tours in Temecula

On our last trip to Palm Desert we learned of numerous wineries (over 30 wineries) in the Temecula area south of Palm Desert. We spent a day touring several and the girls did many tastings. It was a very enjoyable day and only about an hours drive away. Private tour buses were available thru the conceirge desk also. It was definitely a worthwhile experience.

We just got back from a week (traded in) at Marriott's Shadow Ridge. We LOVED it! I think it has the most beautiful grounds I've yet seen in a timeshare. We really appreciated that it had a "quiet pool", but it also
had 2 other large pools, one that looked ideal for children.
Our 1 bedroom unit was lovely as well, we had a big deck overlooking
the golf course, fireplace, granite countertops throughout, etc. I would
jump at the chance to go back!
