I have a row of mums along the driveway. Normally, this time of year, they are covered in blooms. This year they don't have any blooms at all. the foliage looks healthy. Do any of you know why they aren't flowering this year?
I just went out and looked. They do have some very tiny, tight buds so I guess they will bloom sometime. There were two tiny, sick-looking blooms like I usually find in July and pinch back. The plants are not as big as usual and seem to be about two months behind schedule. Come to think of it, I did not fertilize them this year--at least not that I remember.
