I am thinking of going to MOW in Myrtle Beach for a few days in Feb. I have some questions
1. What is the highest gardenview room you can get and still see the ocean?

2. what is there to do at MOW during winter months?

Thanks

I don't know about your view question.

WRT things to do... golf!!!! The rates are great this time of year and it looks like the month should finish in the low 60's.

1. I feel anything above the fourth floor will give you partial ocean view. All the garden views at MOW are really nice in my opinion.
2. Golfing, shopping and some very nice places to dine (no waiting lines). The beach, the beach strip and the broad walk will be less crowded because their will be less tourist in Myrtle Beach.
Suggestions Only.

I had no idea that any of the MOW garden view rooms had a partial ocean view, since there are three other higher view categories--ocean front, ocean side and ocean view.

I believe the OP is addressing the Maple and Pine Villas where you are not on the ocean.
The Maple and Pine Villas are Ocean view and Garden view Villas

The Conch, Scallop and Starfish Villas are Oceanfront, Ocean view and Oceanside villas.

So you can see the ocean from some of the garden view villas in Maple and Pine?

Yes, you can. While not a full on view, you do have some view of the ocean from some of the higher villas categorized at Garden View.

I would suspect the view would be better if one is not in a unit that is closer to where the Maple and Pine buildings come together in the middle?

I wouldn't book a garden view unit hoping to get a view of the ocean. Most garden view units will have no ocean view.
