Greetings Tug'ers
I'd appreciate help on my desktop.
Long Story... Short: Mouse Bit the Dust:
Am using my laptop to write this.
I noticed my mouse 'moved' slower than 'normal' on my desktop,
so I opened the compartment and twirled the battery
hoping to make better contact with the terminals.
POOF !
The lights on the mouse went out.
So I changed the battery and still NOTHING happened !
I believe my mouse died.
Did some research on using a desktop WITHOUT a mouse (via Short-Cut Keys).
Basically I wanted to open the START button (Ctrl + Esc)
to access the BlueTooth feature.
I wanted to "pair" my laptop's mouse with the desktop (using another mouse-control number).
I use #1 on my mouse for my laptop... I wanted to use #2 for my desktop.
I was able to access Set-Up. > Bluetooth window.
However...it SEEMS that a mouse (dead one) is already 'pair'ed' with the desktop
so it won't let me 'pair' another mouse.
Thus... even if I bought a new mouse, I wouldn't be able to 'pair' it to desktop.
Seems like I need to un-pair the dead mouse so I can 'pair' the new mouse.
Any Advice/Suggestions
TIA
Doug
