We have stayed there over the past 4 Christmas/New Years weeks. The units are good size. Like most Colorado resorts, it is not posh by anyones standards. They have done a decent job in recent year on on maintenance. New windows and doors. They are getting ready to do some decorating updates. It's about 30 minutes from the Winter Park ski hill and 15 minutes from Fraser. Very nice grocery store across the street from the Inn at Silvercreek. Its ratings are generally in the 7 range which are fairly accurate. If you don't have to have granite counter tops and all the 5 star amenities you should find it quite passable. If you are going to ski with your family then you might investigate the season pass options. $295 for first adult, 140 for second adult 100 for first child over 5 and 70 bucks for the second. We always buy Winter Park season pass and hump it there each day but next year we are going to bring the 4 year old and the 2 yr old grand daughters and utilize the ski in ski out perk at Sol Vista

We don't need fancy lodging. When we ski in the UP/Michigan most of the lodging is cabins/outdated etc. The ski in-out is what intrigued me after dealing with holiday parking/shuttles at Keystone/Breck this yr. How is Solvista for skiing--has anyone been on the slopes recently? thanx, Dawn
