Mountain Vista or meadows for Family Vacation

Hi all:

I am planning on taking a family vacation next summer in Branson, Mo with my wife and two boys, ages 4 and 8. We would go sometime in July or August for 5 nights (M-F).

I am somewhat familiar with Wyndham, and would like to stay at a Wyndham property (I am in the currently process of getting a resale at Glacier Canyon in WI).

I ruled out the Falls, and was hoping to get some comments on whether Mountain Vista or the Meadows would be best for a family Wyndham trip to Branson. We like outdoor activities, and plan on seeing the sights in Branson (Silver Dollar City, some shows, caves, ...).

I have read that the rec room at Mountain Vista is great, but don't have details on it.

Do both have indoor/outdoor pools that are good for kids, any special kids playgrounds/activities at either?

Any comments are appreciated!

While we like Meadows best, I believe small children would enjoy Mountain Vista better. The pool set-up is better for small children. Both are equal in activites. Have a great time.

We have been to both resorts and each has its own advantages. Meadows had a better outdoor pool set up, IMO. Mountain Vista has a better activity center, again IMO.I think you will enjoy either one. Have fun and welcome to Missouri!!!:whoopie:

Mountain Vista is newer but the Meadows has remodeled some of their units. Both are nice.
 
We've been to all 3 , much prefer mt vista for it's great indoor pool also! So if you plan a time after labor day or before memorial day, you'll need an indoor pool,
