For all the worldtravellers out there, I would be very interested in hearing your two cents on the most luxurious timeshare resort you have been to! To make this simple, let's focus on the room (bed and master bath), furnishings and view. Private cabins would be a big plus I would imagine, if there are any such timeshares out there!

No Private Cabins At Vistana Villages (Orlando FL).

We're not world travelers by any stretch, nor have we stayed at many of the timeshares generally regarded by TUG-BBS folks as high-end resorts.

The nicest & most luxurious timeshare we've stayed in so far is Vistana Villages.

It had a strong Wow ! factor when we toured the resort (for freebies) in 2003, & an even stronger Wow ! factor when we stayed there on RCI exchange in 2006.

The most luxurious timeshares I've stayed at are the Four Seasons Aviara and Four Seasons Scottsdale at Troon North. Both resorts have extremely luxurious bedrooms and baths, spacious living rooms, beautiful grounds, and wonderful staff. It's hard to go wrong with either of these two resorts. They are pretty much in a class by themselves when it comes to traditional, weekly timeshares.

The next most luxurious timeshare I have stayed at would have to be the Hyatt Grand Aspen. I didn't really like it all that much for a variety of reasons, but it was certainly fancy.

Pacifica Aqua penthouse unit in Ixtapa Mexico for views, unit, and uniqueness. Rainfall showers, open aired and privat plunge pool big enough to have a party for 12 on patio.

Casa Velas in Puerto Vallarta Mexico for service, pampering and luxurious rooms and pool with private beach club since it is not on beach but on golf course. Many rooms have in suite jacuzzi's and plunge pools.
