We will be there in two weeks using an II exchange. Anything special we should know? I think I read somewhere that binoculars were in the rooms. Is that still the case? One less thing to pack if so.

As an exchanger, is there any chance of us getting a good view? Can I tell from my confirmation, what was deposited and will it matter? The unit number with II is 320301. If I'm understanding the map correctly, this is a parking lot view.

Finally, I once again have a checkin issue. We are arriving late on Saturday but our friends who will be staying with us are arriving in the afternoon. I asked if they could check in before our arrival and was told no. I wonder if I need to try again or phrase this differently? I was told I could get an II guest certificate but I don't want to do that because we are not giving the unit to our friends. They are our guests but we will be there too. I don't want the unit in their names only.

The room number on your II reservation is not guaranteed. You may get it or something else. 3203/01 looks directly out over a parking lot though you might have a partial ocean view. The second floor view might be mostly blocked by the trees in the public park next to the resort.

I believe they do have binoculars in the rooms now but am not positive.

I would recommend calling the resort directly and ask if your guests names can be added to the reservation along with yours. If not they might be able to store their luggage and your friends could eat dinner or enjoy the pool til you arrive.

Your friends might be able to check-in if you add their names to the reservation. But they'll have to supply their credit card number.

There are no binoculars in the room at WKORV. I've been there many times so I am sure about this. You might try calling the resort directly and speak to someone at the front desk about the situation with your friends. Their number is (808) 667-3200.

Early check-in is not available very often at WKORV. What time will your friends be getting there? Usually you can't check-in before 4:00.

The friends were planning to check in with their own credit card and have separate keys for the lockout. I'll call again and see if I can arrange this. Our flight doesn't arrive until 9:30 and it will take us at least an hour to get to the resort. With time change, this will be pretty late for our friends.

They don't need to get in before 4pm but I didn't want them to wait until late at night.
