More positives with video games

When someone brought up the lie that it creates violent behavior, I said the only violent behavior is when you're just about ready to win the game... the console breaks and you lose everything :crash:

As a mature woman, there was never a chapter in my life that included video games. Never knew a man who is/was a "gamer". However, about a year ago I stumbled upon a silly game called Best Fiends. I've been surprised to find it is mentally stimulating and relaxing at the same time. I have a new appreciation for the positives of playing video games. Never would have guessed. I know there are some who spend too much time with their games when they have loved ones who would enjoy their company, but I live alone so not a problem for me. I will say I am slightly embarrassed to admit to this past-time to friends and family.

If it's fun and entertaining, why not? I don't see anything wrong with it. You could as easily sit all day like my sister and watch the Game Show network on TV, shouting answers at the TV screen. She thinks she's really getting smart when she knows the answers to the quiz show questions, but they're on often enough that I recognize the show as a rerun. She's heard the questions before. :) (Love my sister, but this habit of hers makes me crazy. She's living with us temporarily, and with the quarantine combined with my recent retirement, I'm kind of stuck. LOL!)
