My understanding after reading other threads is that---if you cancel your exsisting search and then start over you get put at the bottom of a wait list. What is the case with a modified search-----Does it affect your turn in line? I ask this because I am using RCI for the 1st time. I have had an ongoing search since October 1 for the Albequerque, Santa Fe area...also for 9 different resorts in the Hilton Head area. I was looking for anytime between Jan 15 - April 22 2006. I'm exchanging a red week Gold Crown. I have applied numerous modified searches to increase my options and I have not got ONE hit yet. I do realize after reading posts that I may have been a little late, but I would have thought that, by now, I could get at least one hit from the 16 resorts I have listed?? Could I possibly have a better chance if I was to call RCI besides doing online searches?
