I need to rent 25 DC points for available for use in July, 2016. Is there a better place than the Marriott general forum to post such a request (other than VPE). Please advise to remove is that is appropriate for this type of post. Thanks. David Z.

You would want to use the TUG Marketplace to place a want ad. Do you have something against VPE?

Nothing against VPE at all. I had already placed a request there, and was just inquiring about other options. Just poorly worded on my part. In fact, I can pull the request and inquiry and say thanks to all. My request was responded to, filled, paid for, points transferred and on-hold reservation confirmed all within 45 minutes. It was my first time in the "renting pool" and I can say it worked perfectly. David Z.

VPE, Redweek and Owner Trade seem to probably be the best place for these. I think the latter two have a fee to list an ad. Since VPE is free, and all you are looking for is 25 points, VPE is probably the best option.
