MMC Transfer - Advice needed

I just received confirmation that my MMC transfer just went thru. However, the MVC website shows first usage of 2013 whereas the listing I purchased indicated a first usage of 2012 and required a MF payment upfront. Upon calling Marriott, they informed me that the MF payment was likely applied to the previous owner and the 2012 usage is on their end. Anybody else have a similar situation? My plan is to call "Property Relief" the company that handled the xfer and discuss how to get my 2012 usage but wanted to get all the facts. Thanks.

This happened to me too after a recent resale purchase. It is very simple to resolve.

The previous owner (or the transfer company) just needs to call Marriott to notify them that you will be taking the 2012 usage. The usage will then appear for you on the MVC website.

Did the previous owner already reserve a 2012 week for you prior to the sale?
