Mizner Place at Weston Town Center or VV at Weston?

I need to stay at one of these for 3 weeks. Any issues or concerns with either?

It looks like If I stay at Mizner Place I would have access to the VV at Weston amenities as long as I drive there (looks like they have a nicer pool that my young kids would enjoy), but location would be better for shopping/groceries.

Ultimately, I don't really care about the location benefits, I am more focused on room upkeep and functioning order.

It looks like from reviews that Mizner has the better upkept units.

I will be staying in a full kitchen unit either way (4 people, 2 young kids sleeping on sleeper sofa).

Anyone have any thoughts/preferences/recommendations on which is better when it comes to the actual rooms?

This isn't a true vacation for my family, just a place to stay while we need to be out of the house for 3 weeks for a renovation. So kids activities etc are not really a concern.

We have stayed at both places. We prefer VV at Weston. Family friendly, nice pool and we stay there often. Mizner was just ok. The Resorts are close to each other and they have a shuttle bus to take you around to the other resorts. If you are bringing a pet best to stay at Buenaventura they allow pets for a fee.

Well I checked into mizner place.. so far had to change rooms due to a cockroach infestation. The new room is nice, but the dishwasher racks are rusted through.. also the bathtub in the old room had yellow water comming out or the faucet...

I hope the next few weeks here in the new room are ok.. I will do a tug review once my stay ends.. but just in case anyone was interested.

I recently had a friend stay at Bonaventure. They liked it. While they only used the pool by their building they did like the fact there was a larger one nearby. The room they stayed in had been renovated and they really liked what was done. Also liked how close attractions and shopping were. Plus the fact the Seminole Hard Rock Casino wasn't too far away.
