The closest timeshare to Milwauke is the Olympia (#0743) in Oconomowoc. It's no more than a half hour to downtown Milwaukee. I'm not sure about the apartment rentals, though.

The Olympia Vacation Owners is about 25 minutes away!

Driving to Downtown Milwaukee is about 25 minutes. It may a little longer between 6:00 to 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Driving in Milwaukee is not very hard. There is some Road Work being done on the Milwaukee ExpressWay. But it doesn't seem to be a problem.

I live in Brookfield, which is 15 to 20 minutes away from Milwaukee Downtown. Keep me posted. If the Olympia does not work for you let me know and I'll see if something else is available. Email me if you have any questions about Milwaukee.

Two summers ago my husband was involved with a convention in downtown Milwaukee and we were able to exchange into the Marcus Vacation Club at Grand Geneva. It was wonderful. It was about a 45-minute drive but we felt it was worth it. Lake Geneva has a wonderful history and a small-town atmosphere for those wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The unit we had was new, still having the paint smell. When my husband was through with his convention obligations for the day, we would take a different route "home". On the weekend, we went over to Madison to see another location of the state. Would love to go back again someday! Just thought I'd throw in another option if you don't mind a little bit more driving time.
