sorry if this has already been answerered elsewhere, but seriously thinking about buying for trading purposes only, don't want to buy from ebay, call it that English cautioness in me, but would rather buy resale, want Platinum, want lock off, want to maximise trading possibilites but mostly interesested in inter Marriott trades. Have been told that Grande Vista may be a good way to go, what do you think, price in region of 11,000 dollars.

Would only ever want to trade into USA in either July or August or perhaps into skiing season, not any of the usual American vacations, ie 4th July, Thanksgiving etc.

Any thoughts you may have, very much appreciated or any links to previous posts

thanks

Lynne

Buy to trade

Hi,
Let me take a stab at this

1- The Grande vista platinum week can be had for under $11,000.00 .
You can find them for sale with an asking price of $10,500.00, so Iam sure you could purchase it for less. My guess is $10,000.00 sale price.
2- July and August are vacation time here in the US. That is when the kids are out of school.
3- Grande Vista is very nice, but it will not be the best trader that you could buy for about $11,000.00. For $11,000.00 you could buy an Ocean Pointe summer week, and that week would get you a bonus week if you deposit it with II.
4- The Manor Club in Virginia can also be had for under the $11,000.00 price tag, and it also can get a bonus week for a prime summer deposit ( July Fourth) This week also has a lower annual maintenance fee than either G.V. or O.P..

Hope this helps a little,
Jim Breslin
