MHZ efficency dep - snagged a 2bdrm

I have a 2 bdrm lockoff at Marriott Horizons Orlando. I deposited my 7/4/09 efficency and was able to exchange it for a 2bdrm at MHZ in Oct/99. Why was I able to do this? I thought you could only exchange like for like unless it's during Flexchange. Thanks!

You can't place an on-going request for a larger unit than you are depositing (unless the resort only has larger units), but you can nab one if you can see it online. Obviously, your holiday reservation week has enough trade value to see a larger, albeit off-season, week. Nice trade!
