MFC finally confirmed today

For any TUG members on MDC waitlist for Frenchman's Cove in STT, we just got our 5 nights for 2016 confirmed today. Waitlisted since early July.....:banana:

I figured September 30th points conversion deadline may provide some impetus for the exchange to be granted.

We coordinated this Club stay with a few nights in a STJ house rental, near Cruz Bay. 2nd visit there and glad we will be returning.

No view details of view in my confirm. As u know, all 2 bdrms. so assume they'll assign bldg. later. Description has balcony, that's it.
MVC exchange, used points for mid-May, not exactly high season but a high demand resort.
We generally like to travel around our anniversary, Springtime travel and don't mind that we can't join the peak crowds there in February.
We'll probably be shivering and shoveling then, only dreaming of May and MFC.....

Good job I was wondering why you only took 5 nights and now I know. How did you find the St John's rental? Thanks

The St. John's rental was listed on Flipkey (TripAdvisor) and I contacted the renter. Owner had good reviews from previous renters and reputable.
The FK rentals have a guarantee of room and renters using it will be "insured" if vacancy problems, double booking, etc. But cost about $150.00 more so I discussed with her and she sent me a rental agreement instead for the reservation.
About $340.00 per night with all taxes and fees.
Great location in Cruz Bay, no rental car needed, 5 minute walk to shops and ferry.
