I posted that I owned a 2BR, ETY and that my 2015 MFs were $188, taxes were $20. I even posted the next use year available was 2019 since I've already traded my 2016 week. So a member who is a TUG Review Crew: Veteran replied "Please check your 2015 MF statement."

So I posted that I checked it along with the info from the invoice. I further clarified that it was ETY which meant MF and taxes for my use year were $625.5. The individual responded "625 per yr sounds liked a true mf." Except, that statement isn't technically true. I don't pay $625 per year. I pay MF $188.50 and $20 every year; $625 per use year. Am I hung up on a technically?

I recently saw the same from a different OP as well as a different responder. OP posted a unit as EOY. He listed the MFs and had "Annually" written after it (meaning MF for use year would be 2x annual MF). Someone responded that his MF was actually double. In my mind, the OP posted accurate information.

I see the point the responders are trying to make, but posting ETY with MF of $625 would be equally incorrect in my mind as some (especially newer members) may take it to mean you pay $625 every year.

What's the consensus of Tuggers?

Sometimes acronyms can be confusing - for instance, "ETY" - so just to be on the safe side - be really clear.

The most successful way I've seen it posted is "Triennial billed $208 Annually" or "Triennial billed $625 in Use Years Only"

Clear and precise identification and expression of applicable details is always welcomed and (...almost) always easily understood.

Assuming that the "ETY" acronym (which is certainly new to me) actually represents triennial usage (i.e., usage every third year), then you are obviously making annual payments toward the actual, true maintenance fee per year of actual usage, which is just as obviously three times the annual (partial) payment figure.

On Planet Timeshare, the devil always lurks in the details. Clear and precise communication of those details, with minimal use of potentially confusing acronyms, can go a long way toward replacing confusion with understanding.

You have described the situation precisely. Even though I had never seen it before, the EYT made sense as I read it. In addition MF for EOY's and ETY's are bill either annually or in the year of usage. If your MF was due ETY then you would say $625 ETY but it's not, it is as you describe it $208/yr.
