AMLO is more concerned with the economy than with the spread of Covid-19, which could prove disastrous. Even last week, he told people to live life as usual and go out to eat in restaurants with your families to strengthen the economy. The low number of confirmed cases (just under 500) is due to almost nonexistent testing. Others in his party (the govenor of Puebla) say the poor are immune to the virus. We'll soon see how a laissez faire attitude towards the spread of the virus plays out. My month-long vacation in Mexico was cancelled, and I have no plans to go down until things calm down. My heart goes out to people who are going to suffer - and it's not going to just be the rich.

Many Mexican people don’t like populist government, but we have to tolerate this. In other side I think Health secretaries try to do their best with what they have. In big cities you can go and make a test, eveyday health secretaries give un inform. Many people take care of health warnings. I know there aren’t enough hospitals. Hope this pandemic will decrease in a short time.
