We flew from Mexico City to Puerto Vallarta on Mexicana in January and we were pleasantly surprised and pleased. Service was good. The plane was a brand new Airbus which was spacious and comfortable. Admittedly, it was a short flight. The only negative of the entire experience had nothing to do with Mexicana itself and more with the seeming disorganization at the enormous Mexico City airport. Few signs are in English and the ones that are are small. We needed to claim our bags and go through customs there and it was difficult for us to get directions and navigate between sectors of the airport with only 1 hr. 20 min. between flights.
