While trying to get us to an owner update here in San Diego. The line is the new ceo created numerous changes including the new owner levels and the likely unification of star options and club points systems. I stated no way they will be unified and the Marriott concierge said that’s what they’ve been told. Just another reason to attend an owner update (LOL), to learn of these new changes coming.

That is certainly a new one and certainly fabricated. I wonder if they keep a notepad by their desk and dream this stuff up at night and write it down before they forget.

They have been working for multiple years towards a platform that would allow both types of memberships to be accessed on one owner website which would be a real bonus for dual owners. That could be what they're talking about rather than actually merging the booking systems/programs themselves.

I ask on every update I do and I've gotten answers over the past 2 years varying from it's still in the works to it will never happen to it won't make Marriott any money so the new CEO will kill it
