I am sincerely grateful for all you TUG members that were kind enough to answer all my questions about Manor Club and Manor Club Sequel units over the past year. Your generous help with the knowledge you possess made it possible for me to make a smart and confident decision.

The information you were able to provide on past resale prices was invaluable in successfully winning this auction. I am especially grateful to the one TUG member who enlightened me regarding snipe services. (I send him a private message expressing my appreciation.)

I credit the snipe service with successfully executing the winning bid in this auction at the lowest price possible!

Thanks again to all you wonderful Tuggers - you people and this web site have certainly won my loyalty! Please excuse me now while I add "Manor Club" to my list of timeshares on my TUG member "profile!"

Best wishes,
Dave

There are two sections at Manor Club. The original section is non-lock offs and the Sequal section which is lock off units.

Regarding ROFR!

Yes, I was also concerned about ROFR. But I spoke with Jeff at Timesharekings (who commissioned the auction and is handling the closing), and his experience is that Marriott isn't exercising ROFR at the present time.

Timesharekings has an excellent professional rating from past E-bay customers and I'm inclined to side with Jeff's expertise. I'm guessing that Marriott has serious cash flow problems right now with the state of the credit industry and the economy and simply can't afford to buy back re-sales at present.

I guess I'll know for sure in 30 days!

Best wishes,
Dave

Yes, please let us know about the ROFR on this unit as time goes on..... If you believe the data at the web site:

http://dioxide45.tripod.com/rofr.html

it shows that Marriott is still exercising ROFR in a few cases.

Congrats! :whoopie:

According to dioxide's chart, 40 out of the last 44 postings passed ROFR. 2 of those that failed were Orlando weeks and I think the other 2 were Williamsburg. Your odds are really good that it will pass. If it happens not to pass, simply buy another week and repeat the process until you get one past ROFR. Good luck.
