Medjet will now carry Covid-19 patients

“The air medical transport membership service Medjet will begin flying travelers hospitalized for Covid-19 to a home hospital of their choice beginning Oct. 19.

The policy will apply to those who are hospitalized in the continental U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean, but not in other regions.

The change will be a substantial one for Medjet, which currently excludes all active Covid-19 infections from transport....”
