I spoke with Vidanta mangement and they offered me the opportunity to cancel and walk away.

I take back any bad things I may have ever said about them.

I explained that we were going to sell it and were members of TUG and just needed to know the accurate Maint. fee and when the lady asked why, I told her that we were 75YO this year and not in good health and had never used it anyway and she said "you could just walk away". She offered to cancel when I said I didn't want my credit record ruined for abandoning the fees. I received the letter of cancellation and stating that no further obligations existed !!! YAY!!!

Congrats! I'm guessing you had a great contract with minimal transfer fee and Vidanta wanted it out of the system.
