I need your help.

I seem to remember reading the 1:5 rule was suspended for 2011, does anyone one know if the suspension was extended to 2012?

Also, I no longer have any idea which resorts are covered by the 1:5 rule, but have been looking for a trade to the Grand Mayan Riveria for March until I realized we exchanged there 3 years ago. Which resorts are covered by this rule?

Hi. The 1 in 5 rule has been waived for 2012 at some of the mayan resorts. Call RCI to check dates and locations. Reservations must be call-in not online to waive the 1 in 5.

Good Luck and enjoy.

1:5 response

Thanks for the response.

Darn, I saw an exchange the Grand Mayan Sunday for March and talked to an RCI rep, he didn't seem to know much about the 1:5 rule until I asked, then he just said "it's your risk, if we give you the exchange and they won't allow you in".
