Have a dog trader, only pulling 76,000 units on RCI.

How do I maximize the trade? Search "off" season?

We will always need a 2 bedroom, because of the family.

Thanks!

Here are some options.

- bank way ahead and do ongoing searches up to 1.5 + years out (so for example if you know you go somewhere every Spring Break, Christmas or Thanksgiving plan for those trips way in advance).

- Look at shoulder season time (just before the red time) or off-season

- Keep calling during ongoing search time, you may be lucky

- Look at locations that are somewhat over developed

Good luck, truth is there is never a sure way, its really just luck sometimes.

Sell you dog and buy oceanfront Cape Cod in summer or Key West in winter. You will then have excellent trading power.

Do put in an ongoing search, but don't rely on it. Sometimes even if it should match, it won't. Much of the time, if you have a dog trader, the units you want can be available, but you still won't get them, even with an ongoing search.

Do some searches online for the places/times you're interested in. If you can't see them, go to the sightings board and ask someone with a strong trader to run the same searches. The information you learn can help you set realistic goals.

Search online everyday until you learn what your deposit can pull. When you find something that suits you, grab it.

Consider Orlando. There are a lot two-bedroom units there and even a dog trader should be able to confirm something desirable. Other possibilities are Williamsburg and Branson or the Dominican Republic in late summer.

I was looking at Branson, but have NO IDEA how to get there? Which airport do you fly into? It looks like a neat place.

Orlando is another option, as we do LOVE it there, and Im seeing 2bedroom gold crowns right now available.
