October 2020 -- in prior posts I've seen comments from people who say they won't book a timeshare without air conditioning. Though that might be true for summer months, I've been surprised during this visit that I've needed to run air for most of the day and night. Temp has been a very consistent high of 88 degrees. The reason this is on my mind -- 9 am, enjoying cup of coffee indoors with slider open -- and I'm feeling the need to close the door and turn on airco. I would not have been able to endure my quarantine in this unit without air conditioning.

We are on Kauai at the Marriott Waiohai and also have the A/C on.
it is usually pretty breezy on the balcony ( still in quarantine) but it is hot and the evenings can be muggy.

I was thinking Kauai might be cooler. The date of your release must be close?

We live on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island and have found that October is the warmest month of the year for us. Sometimes unbearable being outdoors however indoors if we have the tradewinds, it is pleasant under roof.

I agree. Over my years traveling here and now living here for over a year, October has been the warmest. One thing I have noticed is that the trade winds seem to be less during that time of year. So that can make a difference too.
