Maui to Kauai

So I need a couple flights from Maui to Kauai (OGG to LIH) in November.
I'd like mid-day, and a direct flight. Sure I've looked at Kayak, but I am interested in hearing from some experienced TUGers on what else I should know besides price and times. I know nothing about the small inter-island airlines and their quality. TIA

ADDED: Any important differences and/or experiences in luggage allowances/cost?

I have had really good experiences with Island Air- flights on time, easy comfortable flights, nice staff.

We booked Island Air for our trip next month because Maui is their hub and they have several flights that don't stop over in Honolulu. It's a prop plane, so it's small and rather noisy, but our last flight with them was a good experience.

One of my best memories is flying Island Air from Kauai to Maui. It was as much a guided aerial tour as it was transportation. The pilot pointed out interesting things about the islands we were flying over including Pearl Harbor.
