Going to Maui Schooner in March and note that the beach infront of the resort is not great for swimming. Where is the closest swimming beach from the resort?

Maui Lea at Maui Hill
San Diego Country Estates
May not be the closest, but our favorite is the beach in front of what used to be the Maui Prince, now the Makena Beach & Golf Resort.

- DRI: The Point at Poipu, 3 deeded weeks, 1 of which is in The Club.
You won't be far from Kama'ole Beach Park I which is very nice for swimming.

Sun and surf nearby....
All you need to do is hang a right out of the Schooner parking lot and you are
within a 15 min. Ride of at least 10 great beaches. It's Maui, and you
really can't go wrong. Explore, that is the greatest tip I can give you!:whoopie:

To the south less than 2 miles from Kam I beach, life guards, restrooms and showers.
