Maui Ocean club room recommendations???

Forgive me, but search has not worked on this for more than a week and I'm getting close to my trip.

I have seen posts in the past where people recommend floors or buildings or even room numbers for various resorts. And I've seen posts where people tell how you go about letting a resort know of your preferences. But since I keep getting fatal errors when I try to search for this, I'm posting a new post to ask about it again.

We are checking in to an ocean view room in Marriott's Maui Ocean Club, Molokai, Maui and Lanai towers on 12/26.

Can anyone provide any feedback on what floor or area of the building(s) I should request?

And how exactly do I put in that request? By phone (to what ph #) or by email (what address)?

Are you in a 1BR or 2BR? It may be simply requesting the highest floor possible and they will take care of you - some of the OVs in Molokai Tower are spectacular. You would call the property two weeks ahead and give them your request and also if your Marriott Elite status.

Thank you, I forgot that piece of info. We will be in a studio.

I'll see if I get other responses, but if not, I will do as you suggest and call the hotel and request a high floor.

As for your other comment, I am Marriott Platinum Elite and have my MR # already connected to the reservation but will be sure to report that as well.
