Maui Ocean Club, no availability WTH?

So I have owned there for 20 years, we go every October for our anniversary, so next year will be the 30th. I log in and I get a msg that there is no availability for the season? What? There are no weeks in 2025? How is that even possible for a deeded owner?

You only have the first week in October available right now. Have to wait for other dates to be released as we move further into month. If we were at the end of October, I’d call it unusual.

Ok perhaps I’m slow this year, lol. Would there not be Jan 1st 25 through today available also? We have a EOY odd OV deeded week. I have always booked the first week of Oct. for the following year. I think I must have forgotten the process,I know we can book 12 months in advance, so we lost opportunity for any other week in 2025 other that the remaining dates this year?

Yes, you are eligible to book all dates through arrival 12 months from now. But it is a popular resort and it books up fast. So ideally you want to reserve exactly 12 months in advance to have the best chance of getting what you want.

if the dates you want aren’t available, you can keep checking as cancellations occur pretty frequently up to 60 days prior to check in. You haven’t LOST the chance to book an arrival earlier in 2025, but you may have to work at it and there is no guarantee you’ll get it.

There were a lot of availability on points. I booked an oceanfront 1 bedroom for September. Maybe it’s slower in September. This would be my first time booking a stay there.

The booking window opened almost a week ago for those looking to book 12 month out and over 13 months ago for those able to book 13 months (or more) out assuming you're looking at the weekend of 3 October as a check in. And if you're looking at the preceding week (assuming the anniversary is 9/30), that was open 2 weeks ago. And tomorrow is when the following week can be booked.

For what it’s worth and I know this isn’t what OP was asking but…
I have been looking to book a couple of nights on points at Maui ocean club for next month basically logging in everyday to see if the size/view I need is available and suddenly yesterday it showed no availability at all fot the whole. Today it is back to what I normally have been seeing everyday with several days available. Maybe a glitch?
