Tuggers,

I just was able to reserve week 51 for 2009 so I dumped by July 3 reservation a minute ago in case anyone is interested. It's for 2 bedroom ocean view.

You would probably have to use a Marriott to exchange with as if the MAO was just deposited, it will only be visible with a Marriott for the next 24 days. I'm guessing also, since it is a summer 4th of july week, there are probably outstanding requests for it, so I doubt it will ever make it to the website.

I think the OP meant that he changed his reservation at Marriott Maui Ocean Club (MMO) to a week 51 and released his previously reserved week 26. If you are looking to "reserve" a week 26 at MMO then call Marriott and book it now!

Correct, it was a reservation change as the 4th weekend was all sold out. I changed mine from July 3 to week 51 for 2009 thus opening up one unit for a July 3 reservation directly through Marriott. Sorry for the confusion.
