We are going to Maui in January  and I just received my vacation planning email.

I own a 2 bedroom Mountain/Garden view, this will be the first time we stay in our unit. We have traded in one other time, but got a O/V. When we bought the sales guy said always request high floor closest to the ocean in the Lanai tower.

My question is does anyone else out there own a M/G view and have a suggestion on a room #?

TIA

We will be there in January also.

I know you don't want to get close to the garage (it might block your view and you may pick up some vehicle noises). I would also suggest you ask for a view towards the Hyatt (Lahaina) unless you want to look out over the pool (and risk picking up noise from the kids in the pool).

I've seen a chart of the rooms for Lahaina Villas posted on TUG - if you can locate it by a search of TUG you should have no trouble finding the room number you want.

Am I the only one who owns a M/G view????
I have posted some maps but they still don't show the unit numbers but they show the views. Here are a few I can find right now quickly. (1), (2). I wonder if the numbers continue from the numbers here but I would call the resort and ask for the unit numbers closest to the ocean front.

PS. Here is another one of the whole project which shows you the pool and grounds too.

PPS. I would try to find out if they have started building the Hyatt timeshare next door because if that is the case, you better look out over the other side where the pool is because there will be noise of the construction. If you find out, please let us know so we are prepared.

I was there in Oct and if I was in the older buildings the Moloki tower is better. The new building Napili Villas to the north is open with a beautiful new pool.
We own at the Lahaina and no building or erecting was going on at the Hyatt property.
Which GV do you own ? Have you booked your ocean front cabana yet ?

Are you asking me? We own fixed so no booking necessary. :D Our week is the last week in March (#12) when there are still whales! We saw plenty last year from the balcony. Thanks for the update about the Hyatt construction. Does anybody know when they will start?
