Maui Bay Villas versus Resale

Do I stand a chance getting into Maui Bay Villas with my resale points?

Is there a difference in the booking windows between:

1. home resort, developer points and
2. non-home resort, resale points???

We are resale owners and we’re able to reserve a four night stay for next January. Points required are somewhat high in the HGVC system, but we wanted to experience the resort. There is no difference between resale and developer points for reservation purposes. Just make sure you be online right when the inventory becomes available. Good luck.

Plus open season is available often if you are flexible. Generally $360 a night. Not bad considering Hilton.com is charging $1,000 plus for same dates.

Chances will get better as they build more units, it's still in active development, may only be 25% built right now.
