DH and I will be staying a week here toward the end of October - wanted to visit the Shenandoah area, and this took the last 7 TPUs we had, so despite knowing it's an older section we booked it. What can you tell us about it? We're looking forward to driving the Blue Ridge Parkway and visiting Shenandoah National Park - mostly need some "mountain time," coming from flat Texas!

A few in S and VA, a single resort in NC, MD, PA, and UT, plus Jamaica and the Bahamas
Be prepared for lots of steps. This was the first section I stayed in and our unit had about 45 steps before you got to the front door. Once in one bedroom was up a flight of steps and the other bedroom was down a flight of steps with the kitchen/living room/dining room on the floor where you come it. End of October can be a mixed bag of weather. It could be in the 60's or 30's and a light dusting of snow is possible.
