Trying to decide where to go for a mid winter break this upcoming season. My weeks are a 4bd at The Colonies Williamsburg a VV property. I deposited and havent used my 2024 week and may deposit my 2025. We have been to both Massanutten but in summer and Jiminy Peak in winter. When at Jiminy Peak last time we stayed at the Holiday Inn property which was a bit of a drive. This time if we go I want to stay at the mountain either Wyndahm BV or VV Berkshire.

Any tips or insight on any of the properties?

Massanutten has the benefit of having the waterpark but the ski lesson/camp is not as good as Jiminy Peak just a hour lesson and my D/S is now 14 so too old for the camp there.

VV Berkshire I've seen reviews mention mice yikes šŸ˜¬ šŸ˜³ It's across the road from Jiminy Peak and is part of VV so would be cheaper but we may still need to drive over to ski/snowboard.

Wyndham Bentley Brook I won't get the VV discount meaning I'll pay a good amount more out of pocket to stay there. Yet once there we literally don't have to move the car again.

I live in NJ and they are about the same distance drive time. Any experience at all 3 or preferences?

Massanutten is weather dependent. It's not that high in elevation. I'm from VA (2 hours away). Winter can be in the 40s. I would not want to book in advance until I saw how winter looks. We have booked Poconos to be sure we'd have snow.

For me, if I was going for snow, I'd probably be going further north than Massanutten. I'm not a skiier so I can't talk about which property is better, or how snowy the Berkshires are.
